Key Projects
Andrei is a Senior Project Architect at Formline Architecture + Urbanism. He brings over 20 years experience across all major phases of Architectural Practice, with a primary focus on construction documentation. Andrei holds a Master of Architecture from State University of New York and is a Registered Architect with the AIBC.
Previous to joining Formline Andrei has worked on a range of high density multi-family residential projects within the Greater Vancouver Area, many luxury single family homes on the North Shore and throughout the sea-to-sky corridor, as well as on technical infrastructure improvements at local universities. At Formline, Andrei leverages his passion for practical technical solutions towards the development of high performance buildings.
Outside of work, Andrei is an avid skier and swimmer and has lived in British Columbia since 2002.
From Designing to Speaking
Alfred, a seasoned lecturer, is widely recognized for his innovative thinking. His expertise spans various subjects, with a particular passion for ‘Indigenuity’—a term he coined. This concept brings together indigenous ways of knowing and western knowledge to create architecture that prioritizes cultural sensitivity and environmental responsibility. Alfred’s engaging presentations leave audiences inspired to embrace new perspectives and make conscientious choices for the collective good.
